Using the beta
BestOMR provides a free, limited public beta for converting printed sheet music into editable formats. Availability and usage limits can change as we learn from actual use. No paid subscription or paid service-level commitment is offered through this beta.
Your source material
Upload only material that you own or have permission to process. You remain responsible for the rights needed to upload, adapt, perform, distribute or publish your music. Using BestOMR does not grant additional rights in the underlying score. We process your upload to deliver the requested conversion; we do not claim ownership of it.
Review before use
Recognition and automatic checks can be wrong or incomplete. Review every result against the source and make necessary corrections before using it. Keep copies of your originals and download any exports you want to retain; this service is not permanent storage.
Fair use of the service
Do not attempt to access other users’ files, circumvent limits, disrupt processing or upload harmful files. Public beta access is for interactive use within the displayed limits, not automated bulk processing or a production API dependency.
Privacy and retention
Our privacy notice describes temporary file storage, essential cookies and deletion. Use the service only if that handling is appropriate for your material.
